Feb Changing Minds

As the days get longer and brighter over the next few months, there is much to look forward to. Here is what we have in store for you at CAMH Foundation: helpful tips for starting that important conversation about mental health and ways to support mental health programs and CAMH right in your community. Thank you for being part of our family, and of this important movement!

Let’s Talk, and Listen

As a friend of CAMH, we thank you for the huge difference you make by supporting mental health. Thank you for championing our cause, to create a world where everyone has access to mental health services. Support comes in many ways: supporting our friends through #BellLetsTalk, making your voice heard as a mental health advocate and donating to CAMH. But you can do more to have a direct impact on someone’s life. Our new guide “How to Have Conversations about Mental Health” is now available. Please use it as a conversation starter for someone you care about — a family member, a friend or a colleague. A positive change might start with you. To get your copy, text GUIDE to 647-496-4432.

What will your One Brave Night be?

Mark your calendars, it’s time to join the movement for mental health! CAMH One Brave Night for Mental Health is back on April 7, 2017. For the third year, we ask Canadians to step up and stay up in solidarity with — and inspire hope for — those living with mental illness! This is an easy and accessible way that every Canadian can get involved and choose their own challenge (and get your friends, family and colleagues to support you!). Last year's challenge raised nearly $900,000 in support of CAMH’s life-saving work. Registration is now open, and its free!
